Always note the time that you took your sample, if you want to accurately compare samples later, future samples should be taken at the same time! Why? Read this post.

Microba Microbiome Uploads

This is still a work in progress

If you encounter issues, email the file to Research@MicrobiomePrescription.com. Thanks. Providers keep changing formats :-(

The FOUR files are required. A Phylum, a Family, a Genus and a Species file. See this short video on how to obtain them.
See for a discussion of the problems with the data.

It has been reported that Microba no longer provides anything except Species files. We have change the code to support this upload but many features are disabled because the data is just too incomplete.

Notice

Microba use non-standard naming, i.e. many names will not be found, as written, on the NCBI Taxonomy Browser that this site uses as a gold standard.

You will be emailed when we finish matching (by hand) your sample.

If you encounter any issues, please email Research@MicrobiomePrescription.com attaching your FOUR files. Note that your numbers may slightly changed as we improve Microba's bacteria name mapping to the NCMI Hierarchy names and Taxon Numbers.

By uploading, you consent to allow your microbiome data and symptoms to be made available to citizen scientists for further discoveries. If you wish to be anonymous and use this site, it is recommended that you enter a bogus email address and use that email address to access your data later. You will be shown the login information once after upload -- make sure that you copy it down if using a bogus email.

This is an Academic site. It generates theoretical models of what may benefit a specific microbiome results.
